I have heard various opinions on this topic from many different agents.  Some say an overwhelming YES and some say and overwhelming NO!  What is your opinion?

Personally I think there are many pros and cons with this issue

PROS:

• More people will come to your open house because not many other agents are hosting them!
• The non football people need something to do!
• There will be a lot of traffic in various neighborhoods hosting super bowl parties!

CONS:

• There are a lot of FOOTBALL PEOPLE who could care less about an open house when the big game is on!
• There will not be a lot of extra parking spaces since all the neighbors are having people over for the big game!
• Since there will not be a lot of them out there people may wait until the next weekend to go looking!

The reason I am posting this post is because when I was trying to figure out what to do on the walls with my own two story open family room/great room I could not find pictures of ideas ANYWHERE!  Whenever I am looking for pictures of ideas on the internet, I usually go to google and select the images search and then type what I am looking for.  I could not believe how hard it was to find these.

The pictures above are of my shadow boxes that are on the big wall (20 feet tall) in my Two Story Open Family Room / Great Room.  They are 6 feet tall and 4 feet wide.  I hope this gives you some creative ideas of what you can do with your room.

My wife and I have been going back and forth about whether or not to finish the entire basement flooring in a laminate wood like pergo or dupont flooring, but she wants to have it carpeted for our younger daughter.  I told her that I think that the "wood" look is better for resale and I think just plain looks better and we can always get area rugs.  Her response to me was, SHOW ME SOME BASEMENTS THAT ARE FINISHED WITH ALL WOOD FLOORING AND SHE WOULD LET ME DO IT!

This will certainly be (at least in my opinion) THE MOST ANTICIPATED NFL GAME OF THIS YEAR!  If I were you, I would not miss this one.  Being from Baltimore, Maryland, I can tell you that we go absolutely NUTS OVER OUR RAVENS!  This season is just such a special one and you can almost feel that this is the way it was supposed to happen.  We were supposed to go through Pittsburg to EARN our trip to the SUPER BOWL!  I am glad it happened this way, because no other team fires us up like the Steelers.  I know we are going to have a lot of out of towners around here for the Presidential Innaguration Event early next week and if you are one of them I hope you are READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL AND SOME PURPLE!

GO RAVENS!  GO RAVENS!  GO RAVENS!  GO RAVENS!
