What's on the back of your business card?

As many of you saw in a recent post by me, I was in the process of re-designing my new business card format a few weeks ago and decided from some comments that I received and also read about that it would be a good idea to put something on the back of my own business card!  I got the idea I used from an agent in Ocean City, Maryland (Mary McCracken) that I met a few summers ago while on vacation!  The phrase she had on the back of her card stuck out in my mind and I still have her card today in case I run into someone who is ready to buy at our local beach/resort area!  I would have linked her profile in this post, but I don't believe she has finalized creating her profile here on AR yet!  I hope you don't mind that I'm using the first phrase that you had on the back of your card Mary!  Below is what I decided to put on my card in BOLD is what I borrowed from Mary:

"The highest compliment my clients can
give me is the referral of their friends,
family, and business associates!"

Thank you for your trust,

Michael D. Klijanowicz (signature)

"Creating lifelong relationships with ALL of my clients"

What do you have on the back of your business cards?  Do you thing that something like this will make it stand out among the other HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS out there?  I know I sure do!

Mike - The back of my card varies. I have seen many ideas. One is as good as the next.

Ours is simply, "We are never too busy for your referrals."

I think it is a great idea, and it does make it stand out from the rest!

To be honest I like to keep mine blank. I have found people end up needing something to write on and they usually don't have paper handy. What they end up using is the back of a business card. Makes them keep it and refer to it because of what they wrote on the back. Besides if you can't put what you want on one side then you're trying to do too much.

Also hate double sided glossy cards for the above reason. You can't write on glossy cards :)

We like ours clean and blank because is always seems that the white space is used for notes and such. So leaving it that way has worked for us.

I use the back as a resume'

2007 Board of Directors, Flint Area Assocation of Realtors

2007 President, Flint Chapter Women's Council of Realtors

2004 Accredited Buyers Representative Manager, e-PRO

2005 Transnational Referral Certified

ect....

Ends with                   Specialty:  Client Satisfaction

I have recieved referrals from it and people actually read it!

Wow, Thanks for all of your comments!  I still don't understand why some people would not use the back of the card because it sure does make yours stand out among all the others...

I had my mission statement at the back. But now, I prefer to leave it blank so that I can write on it..... Leaving a tip and a Big Thank You note at the back. I just love doing it.

Thanks for your comments its good to see that a majority do favor writing a slogan on the back since I already ordered 3000 of them!

Mine are blank on the back.  I also use a totally different material then any other Realtor cards I have seen.  Not sure about you guys but here in FL the "referral" slogan on the back of your business card says to me - I am the same as everyone else.  Just like a picture on the front.  I know, I know - there are arguments for both pro and con of photos and slogans on the back.  It just seems to me (my personal opinion) that every agent who gets a card puts the same slogan or variation there of on the back of their cards. "The highest compliment is your referral" or something like that. I did use a slogan that said - Your NATIVE Connection to South Florida Real Estate and sometimes use that on my site because Florida Natives are rare but then I found a couple others who stole it from me - and they were buddies of mine!!!! I like to be different and just the material of my card gets people to say "Wow, nice cards!" and they tend to keep them.  You can tell it is a major upgrade material and most people keep them and some even ask me where I got them for their business! My goal is to show that starting from my business cards all the way to how I handle my business is that everything is top-notch and above the "standard". First class.

Michael - I leave mine blank on purpose to write notes and I like other people's to be blank for my own notes about them. On the back of their card I write where and when I met them and anything else to help me remember anything that will jar my memory if I should call them a few months later.

Having a picture is a big plus too. I read an article that said people save business cards with pictures over ones without them.

Whatever makes them hold on to my card is what I'm gonna try.
